In order to provide better solutions in Future,  Verizon will introduce a new development kit. All the modules and the development kit will be released soon this year.

As per the press release by Qualcomm, Verizon ThingSpace Client is already being Tested on LTE Modem and is mainly designed to allow various manufacturers to design various IoT devices. Moreover, Verizon’s ThingSpace Software provides the solution not only for wireless data but also for Cloud Data Management for latest IoT devices.

IoT Module Features

After the Integration of  Qualcomm’s Cat-1 LTE modem with Verizon  4G LTE network and ThingSpace Platform, which provides a structured approach for designing, developing and maintaining various IoT devices which will be useful for various purposes such as wearables, smart cities, smart gadgets, etc.

Quectel and Telit Importance in building IoT Module

As per the CEO of Quectel, Patrick Qian, they are very excited to work with Qualcomm and Verizon. Besides, they also believe that integration of ThingSpace Software and Qualcomm LTE modem into Quectel’s BG96 module will provide a wide range of high-performance devices. Telit is working with Verizon in empowering millions of CDMA IoT devices since many years in North America. As per Dennis kelly, vice president of sales, Telit, their new module ME910C1 is aimed to provide advanced IoT devices that will be useful in future.

Qualcomm’s Modem

Qualcomm is expanding the production of Cat-1 LTE modem before they get any notice about 5G. Qualcomm is mainly known for providing solutions for networking hardware for various IoT devices. The 5G for the IoT devices will be released this year. Verizon after merging up with Qualcomm is all set to built various IoT platforms. Besides this, the company is going to unveil 5G services later in this year.

Qualcomm MDM9206 modem is designed in such a way to support low power, low bandwidth and provide optimum results for building various latest IoT services which can be further modified in future along with the expansion of LTE. Using this, various Eco-Friendly IoT devices will be available in the future.
